Phreneticus is an anthology-style aerial dance film by Lookup Theatre that featured in the Short - Documentary Selections at the Circus International Film Festival in spring 2022. The film presents a series of solo vignettes, each highlighting a different performer’s story and the transformative impact of social circus on mental health. Through intimate and expressive aerial performances, the film weaves together eight narratives of self-discovery through dance.
